As U.S. tech behemoths persist in pouring billions of dollars into artificial intelligence ventures, TSMC revealed on Wednesday a remarkable 30% uptick in sales for the third quarter. Based on TSMC's monthly sales figures, the company's revenue soared to NT$989.9 billion (roughly equivalent to US$32.5 billion) during the three-month period concluding in September, outstripping the average analyst forecast of NT$962.8 billion. Spurred on by the AI craze, the stock price of Asia's most valuable company in terms of market capitalization has climbed by more than 30% this year.
