Although these two U.S. AI startups have already secured traditional commercial insurance, their existing policies are insufficient to cover all risks. OpenAI has set aside a portion of investor funds to expand its risk coverage and, with assistance from Aon Group, has secured insurance coverage of up to $300 million for emerging AI risks.
