According to sources familiar with the matter, OpenAI has completed a deal allowing current and former employees to sell approximately $6.6 billion in shares at a company valuation of $500 billion. This transaction has propelled OpenAI's valuation past SpaceX, making it the world's highest-valued startup. Previously, OpenAI was valued at $300 billion in a $40 billion financing round led by SoftBank Group.
