In the preview version of Windows 11, there have been references to a corresponding "Taskbar Assistant App". This strongly hints at the possibility that AI agents will be seamlessly and deeply woven into the taskbar's framework.

The primary objective of this feature is to significantly boost user operational efficiency by leveraging AI technology. For instance, users will be able to employ natural language commands to modify system settings and carry out various tasks. Microsoft has already made a splash in the AI - assistant arena with the launch of Windows Copilot. Moreover, the company is persistently enhancing its AI offerings, introducing features like "Relight" and "Perfect Screenshot", all with the aim of elevating the overall user experience.
