Fuyao University of Science and Technology recently held its inaugural ceremony for undergraduate students in the academic year of 2025. Cao Dewang, the Chairman of the University Council, delivered an inspiring speech. Meanwhile, Wang Xingxing, the founder of Unitree Technology, was appointed as the keynote speaker for the Fuyao Lecture Series and made an appearance at the event. This marks the university's first-ever admission of undergraduate students, with 50 students being selected from five provinces and regions. The minimum admission score for these students was an impressive 616 points. On September 7th, the university organized a welcoming meeting for the new students and their parents. During this gathering, President Wang Shuguo encouraged the freshmen to actively engage with their professors, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Furthermore, in a significant move this April, Li Kaifu, the founder of 01.AI, joined the university council. His presence is expected to contribute valuable insights as the university explores the development path of integrating 'AI into education'.
