On September 12th, Meituan formally introduced the public beta of its inaugural AI Agent product, the 'Xiaomei' App. This product is billed as a 'compact yet sophisticated AI lifestyle assistant.' Here, the descriptor 'compact' highlights the straightforward and uncomplicated nature of its operation, whereas 'sophisticated' underscores its dedication to enhancing the quality of life. Leveraging Meituan's proprietary LongCat-Flash-Chat model, the app facilitates effortless access to a range of local lifestyle services via natural language communication and internal API integrations. These services encompass food delivery orders, restaurant suggestions, reservation and navigation features, among others. At present, the 'Xiaomei' App can be downloaded from major app stores.
