On the social platform X, Google CEO Sundar Pichai declared that the tech giant is set to roll out a series of initiatives across the United States, designed to furnish students and educators with comprehensive access to artificial intelligence (AI) training resources. As part of this endeavor, all U.S. high schools will gain complimentary access to Gemini for Education. Over the forthcoming three-year period, Google has earmarked $150 million in grants to propel advancements in AI education and digital health sectors. Specifically, $2 million will be channeled into the Prosperity Fund, while an additional $3 million will be donated to Code.org. Furthermore, Google will extend Google Cloud credits to facilitate high school AI courses. Concurrently, the 'Education AI Accelerator' program is poised to encompass 200 universities, fostering a broader educational impact.
