Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice President of the European Commission, affirmed that the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Digital Markets Act (DMA) are sovereign laws of the European Union and will remain in force, extending their applicability to all online platforms operating within the EU's borders, irrespective of their headquarters' location.
