China has embarked on a collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Egypt, and other countries to establish meteorological satellite data application centers, early warning systems, and meteorological artificial intelligence models. This initiative aims to bolster the capacity for disaster weather forecasting and propel the integration of AI in meteorology across the Arab region. Presently, the Fengyun meteorological satellite data platform supports 17 Arab nations, offering a diverse range of products and tailored monitoring services specifically for Gulf countries. In partnership with Jordan, an advanced early warning system leverages high-performance computing and AI technology to deliver comprehensive disaster weather alerts across various scenarios.
