Meta is stepping up its efforts to develop the next-generation AI model, Llama 4.X, aiming to rectify the shortcomings of the Llama 4 series models that were released in April this year. The initial Llama 4 models fell short of market expectations and garnered a muted response due to their underperformance in practical applications like coding, reasoning, and instruction adherence. Consequently, Meta is pushing hard to introduce the upgraded Llama 4.X model by the end of this year.
