On August 29, Zhang Kailin, Deputy Director of the Innovation and High-tech Development Department at the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), disclosed that advancing the "AI+" initiative constitutes a comprehensive undertaking. The NDRC will persist in its coordinating role, collaborate with relevant ministries and local administrations, and bolster both tangible investments and intangible infrastructure. In terms of significant projects, the government intends to leverage investment guidance policies, including the "Double Focus" and "Double New" initiatives, central budgetary allocations, and special local government bonds, to foster AI development. Additionally, the NDRC plans to introduce computing power vouchers aimed at alleviating R&D and operational costs for innovators.
