On August 28, the prestigious 2025 Shanghai Cybersecurity Industry Innovation Conference marked a significant milestone with the official launch of the Shanghai AI Security Working Committee. Led by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, this Committee was jointly initiated by the Shanghai AI Industry Association, Shanghai Yidian Group, SenseTime, and numerous other leading enterprises in the AI and cybersecurity sectors. The Committee's primary objective is to foster collaborative innovation and governance in AI and cybersecurity technologies, aiming to tackle emerging security threats like deepfakes and data poisoning, and ultimately redefine the industrial defense landscape.
