On August 26, the State Council released the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the 'AI+' Initiative," emphatically advocating for support in AI chip innovation and the fostering of software ecosystems. The document also stresses the need to expedite breakthroughs and engineering applications in ultra-large-scale intelligent computing cluster technology. Concurrently, the Opinions highlight the importance of optimizing the national intelligent computing resource allocation, enhancing the integrated national computing power network, and reinforcing the national hub role of "east data, west computing." This aims to facilitate efficient coordination of resources including data, computing power, electricity, and networks. Furthermore, the efforts will focus on improving the interconnectivity and interoperability of intelligent computing power, aligning supply and demand, and fostering the development of standardized, scalable cloud computing services to ensure a universal, efficient, green, and secure supply of intelligent computing power.
