On August 26, the State Council unveiled the "Opinions on Deepening the Implementation of the 'AI+' Initiative," detailing a comprehensive roadmap for AI development in China. The document sets forth three distinct milestones. Initially, by 2027, China aims to spearhead the deep integration of AI into six pivotal sectors, fostering widespread adoption of new-generation smart terminals and agents, with an anticipated adoption rate surpassing 70%. Concurrently, the core AI industry will undergo rapid expansion, AI's role in public governance will markedly intensify, and the open collaboration framework will undergo further refinement. By 2030, AI is envisioned to comprehensively propel high-quality development, with the adoption rate of new-generation smart devices exceeding 90%, thereby solidifying the AI economy as a cornerstone of China's economic growth. By 2035, China anticipates fully transitioning into a new era of the AI economy and AI society, providing robust underpinning for socialist modernization.
