The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) announced on Thursday that Google will offer a comprehensive AI and cloud services package to federal agencies at a heavily discounted rate of 47 cents per set. This package includes discounted access to Gemini for Government, valid through 2026. In a competitive bid to secure this significant government client, both OpenAI and Anthropic had previously employed similar tactics, intending to provide their AI products to the government at a yearly cost of $1 per user.
