Microsoft has recently released an update to the Copilot app, version 1.25082.132.0, introducing a groundbreaking semantic file search feature exclusively for Windows 11 AI+ PC users. This innovation enables users to locate files effortlessly using natural language queries, such as "Find pictures of bridges at sunset," eliminating the need to recall specific file names. Furthermore, the Copilot app homepage has undergone a complete redesign. The file search feature is multilingual and supports a wide range of file formats, including images and documents. The new homepage also provides a centralized access point to recently used apps, files, and conversations, significantly boosting operational efficiency. Regarding privacy, Copilot ensures user safety by displaying only local "recently used" files and requiring explicit user authorization for file processing. The update is being gradually rolled out via the Microsoft Store.
