The 22nd China-ASEAN Expo Organizing Committee Meeting was recently convened in Beijing, featuring Wei Tao, Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, who delivered a keynote address. Under the auspices of the Ministry of Commerce, Wei Tao emphasized that this year's Expo will uphold the principles of excellence, safety, and frugality, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI). The goal is to establish an international AI cooperation hub focused on ASEAN. He underscored the necessity of bolstering the role of enterprises, aiding them in identifying business prospects, expanding markets, and enhancing the tangible outcomes of economic and trade cooperation. Cooperation will be deepened in key areas such as emerging productive forces, cross-border production, and supply chains. Additionally, the meeting stressed the importance of maintaining safety standards, fostering the Expo's evolution and growth, and further leveraging the "Nanning Channel's" influence.
