Baidu has unveiled its financial results for the second quarter of 2025, revealing a robust performance with revenues hitting 32.7 billion yuan. Notably, the net profit attributable to Baidu Core surged by 35% year-on-year, amounting to 7.4 billion yuan. The company's nascent AI-driven businesses, particularly the intelligent cloud segment, achieved a significant milestone by generating revenues exceeding 10 billion yuan for the first time, marking a 34% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the Robotaxi service, RoboTaxi, witnessed a remarkable surge in ridership, recording over 2.2 million rides globally in Q2, up 148% year-over-year. To date, RoboTaxi has facilitated over 14 million rides and expanded its footprint to 16 cities worldwide.
