Shanghai has unveiled the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Development of 'AI+Manufacturing'" to expedite the adoption of robotics. The plan envisions the deployment of industrial robots in critical industries for tasks characterized by high repetitiveness, danger, or health risks, thereby enhancing production efficiency and safety. Concurrently, it fosters the extensive utilization of intelligent robots in assembly, welding, painting, material handling, and other manufacturing processes. The objective is to establish human-robot collaborative intelligent manufacturing units and attain unmanned operation of intricate processes. Additionally, the plan outlines measures for testing the safety and reliability of humanoid robots, ensuring that products are 'certified' prior to deployment.
