Projections indicate that by the close of August, precipitation levels will surpass the norm in regions including Northeast China, North China, eastern Northwest China, eastern and southern Southwest China, South China, and southern Jiangnan. Notably, rainfall is anticipated to surge by 20% to 50% in most areas of eastern Northeast China, eastern North China, and South China. Furthermore, it is forecasted that one to two typhoons will develop in the western North Pacific and the South China Sea, with at least one having the potential to impact or make landfall in China.
