On August 14, Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration, disclosed at a press conference organized by the State Council Information Office that the proliferation of artificial intelligence model training has spurred a surge in demand for data transactions. As of the close of June this year, the total transaction volume of high-quality datasets nationwide has nearly reached 4 billion yuan. Furthermore, Shanghai, Tianjin, Anhui, and other regions are pioneering new models for valuing data and corpora in the context of equity participation, incentivizing businesses to transform their high-quality datasets into equity, thereby amplifying the value of data elements.
