On June 13, Dong Yuhui, the deputy director of the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, stated that since the trial operation of the High Energy Photon Source in December 2025, as of the end of April 2026, it has supported nearly 300 research projects, attracted over 1,000 users, and is planned to be officially operational after passing national acceptance within this year.
