Vivek Arya, an analyst at Bank of America Global Research, recently predicted that the total addressable market (TAM) for server CPUs will surge to over $170 billion by 2030, more than quadrupling from $35 billion in 2025. This figure far exceeds the bank's previous forecast of $125 billion for the server CPU market size in 2030. Arya pointed out in his report that the rise of agentic AI is the primary driver of this growth, as it not only expands the market space for CPUs but also presents development opportunities for Intel, AMD, and Arm-based vendors.
