Omdia's latest research indicates that semiconductor revenue in the first quarter of 2026 increased by 27% quarter-over-quarter, reaching $319 billion, with memory revenue being the primary driver, showing a quarter-over-quarter increase of over 80%. As memory revenue continues to lead the semiconductor market, a strong growth trend is expected to persist in the second quarter of 2026. Although the quarter-over-quarter growth rate may slow down, it is still projected to achieve an increase of over 20%.
