Recent speculations indicate that the release of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 50 SUPER series graphics cards might be delayed. Based on the newest information from BenchLife, the desktop graphics cards built on the Blackwell architecture are now anticipated to make their first appearance at CES 2027, instead of the initially planned 2026. This suggests that both AMD and NVIDIA are unlikely to introduce their new-generation graphics cards prior to 2027. The RTX 50 SUPER series mainly focuses on enhancing memory capacity. For instance, models such as the RTX 5080 SUPER and RTX 5070 Ti SUPER are expected to come with 24GB of memory, the RTX 5070 SUPER might be equipped with 18GB, and the RTX 5060 is likely to offer 12GB. The postponement could be attributed to the constrained supply of GDDR7 memory and NVIDIA's strategic pivot towards the AI industry.
