Recently, Lifechip has achieved a remarkable milestone in the field of high-resolution visual brain-computer interface (BCI) technology by successfully completing China’s first Good Clinical Practice (GCP)-compliant clinical implantation procedure for a high-resolution retinal pathway visual BCI. The patient, who had been blind for nearly two decades, demonstrated the ability to recognize letters just one day post-surgery, setting a new benchmark for the speed of visual reconstruction. Notably, Lifechip stands as the sole enterprise in China to have mastered this groundbreaking technology.
