On June 8, 2026, China's A-share market witnessed a collective lower opening across its three major indices. Specifically, the Shanghai Composite Index saw a 2.21% drop, the Shenzhen Component Index tumbled by 3.13%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 3.48%. The sectors that bore the brunt of the decline were computer hardware, communication equipment, and semiconductors. Notably, Longsys plummeted by over 9%, while Hua Hong Semiconductor and YOFC both slumped by more than 8%. In contrast, the motorcycle and construction machinery sectors emerged as the top gainers, with Loncin Motor surging over 3% and Sany Heavy Industry climbing more than 1%.
