This initiative sets a goal to attain high-end chip performance comparable to a 1.4nm process by 2031, utilizing unconventional methods. Rather than solely depending on the continuous miniaturization of transistors, Huawei plans to achieve this through system-level enhancements and design refinements. Professor Andrew B. Kahng of the University of California, San Diego, endorsed this strategy, highlighting that the 'Tao (τ) Law' demonstrates Huawei's commitment to pushing the boundaries of semiconductor technology.
