On May 17, ASML and Tata Electronics signed a cooperation agreement to help India enhance its domestic chip manufacturing capabilities. According to a joint statement released by both parties on Saturday, ASML's technology will support Tata Electronics in constructing a 300mm (12-inch) semiconductor foundry in Gujarat. The signing of this memorandum of understanding coincides with Indian Prime Minister Modi's visit to the Netherlands, aiming to deepen bilateral relations.
