According to insiders with knowledge of the situation, Microsoft's executives notified the sales team this week that for enterprise clients buying a substantial number of seats and agreeing to make extra payments contingent on the utilization of specific features, the company will elevate subscription discounts for its Copilot AI software to a range of 30% to 50%. These enhanced discounts are set to come into effect in October, aligning with Microsoft's strategy to introduce a revamped iteration of its Copilot super app. Reports indicate that the latest version of Copilot might be released as soon as this week, incorporating functionalities such as AI code tools and intelligent agents reminiscent of OpenClaw, with certain features subject to additional usage-based fees.
