On September 23, according to The Information, Microsoft (MSFT.O) executives revealed to sales staff this week that the company will offer larger discounts of 30% to 50% on subscriptions to its Copilot AI software for enterprise customers who commit to purchasing a significant number of seats and pay additional fees based on the usage of specific features. These discounts are expected to be implemented as early as October, coinciding with the launch of Microsoft's revamped Copilot super app. According to sources familiar with the matter, the new version of Copilot, expected to be released this week, will integrate features such as AI coding tools and AI agent capabilities similar to OpenClaw into a single app, with some features incurring additional charges based on subscriber usage.
