On Thursday, the Paris Prosecutor's Office in France disclosed that the French cybercrime regulatory body has now elevated its inquiry concerning Elon Musk and his social media platform, X, to the level of a criminal investigation. According to the prosecution, summons were served upon Musk and Linda Yaccarino, the erstwhile CEO of the X platform, on April 20. However, both individuals declined to present themselves for interrogation. Earlier, French authorities had conducted a raid on the Paris office of the X platform, a move that Musk characterized as a 'political assault'.
