On Wednesday (March 11), during U.S. stock trading, shares of artificial intelligence cloud company Nebius Group surged nearly 14%. This followed NVIDIA's announcement of a $2 billion investment in Nebius, establishing a strategic partnership between the two companies to jointly develop and deploy next-generation hyperscale clouds for the AI market, serving AI-native developers and enterprise users. The collaboration will focus on AI infrastructure deployment, compute cluster management, inference services, and AI factory design. NVIDIA will provide priority access to its latest-generation accelerated computing platforms, supporting Nebius in deploying over 5 gigawatts of computing power by the end of 2030.
