According to the research report released by CSI Securities, commencing in 2026, the power consumption driven by AI technologies in North America is projected to outstrip the incremental demand from conventional loads, emerging as the pivotal factor shaping the region's overall power requirements. It is forecasted that between 2026 and 2028, the cumulative delivery capacity of gas turbines in North America will range from 60 to 66 gigawatts (GW). However, the anticipated power demand from AI applications during this same timeframe is estimated to reach 152 GW, revealing a substantial shortfall. Consequently, it is expected that the global demand for gas turbine orders will sustain its upward trajectory in 2026, potentially surpassing the 100 GW threshold.
